Dear residents of the 7th Congressional District of Tennessee,
For the past few years, hardworking Tennesseans have been facing the everyday challenges of making ends meet. These challenges include: high unemployment rate, high cost of healthcare, a minimum wage that can no longer sustain families, and our service members and veterans are facing benefits cuts. The challenges we are facing are very significant and we do not have the proper representation in Congress right now to fix these issues. This is the Great Volunteer State of Tennessee, and we all know that we can do better by introducing comprehensive policies that will help us overcome these challenges we face.
This is why I, Credo Amouzouvik, am running for Congress to represent the 7th District of Tennessee. As your Congressman I will devote myself to making necessary changes for our district concerning the creation of good-paying jobs and reducing our unemployment rate by voting “yes”on raising the minimum wage. I will also vote “yes” in support of equal pay for women, and repairing the military and veteran benefits systems. As a war disabled veteran, I will fight to protect military and veteran benefits. I will introduce policies to repairing our infrastructures and building new ones. I will fight to make sure healthcare is affordable and available to all—especially for our seniors. I believe there are a lot of changes needed here in Tennessee and in Washington DC, but the truth is, even though I am up for the challenge, I cannot do it alone. However with your support, campaign contributions, active participation, and your vote we can work to fix the most pressing issues facing middle Tennessee today. With your help, we can target the root causes of social issues plaguing us to create a real and lasting change in Tennessee.
There is still a huge opportunity gap that separates the “haves” and the “have-nots”, but it can change. This is all the more reason why your involvement in this campaign is important. I need your help sharing this message which focuses on the building blocks of sustaining a good life in middle Tennessee. This process starts with improving our education system, strengthening our hardworking middle class, and improving our healthcare system by making it affordable for all.
I am for and with the American people. I support raising the minimum wage and empowering our middle class. The incumbent Marsha Blackburn is in Congress and trying to do away with our middle class. I support our teachers and a strong education system (education is the new world currency), Blackburn and her friends in the Tennessee legislature are working against our teachers and taking away money from our public education. I would love to see new good paying jobs created here in Tennessee, but Blackburn wants to ship them out to profit her friends (big corporations and special interest groups). Marsha Blackburn has failed to serve the people of the 7th congressional district of Tennessee and it is time for her to go.
I offer Tennessee and our nation a fresh start in a new direction, send me to be your voice in the United States Congress.
“FRESH START, NEW DIRECTION”.
